One of the brightest and most beloved stars in Hollywood history, DORIS DAY began her legendary career as a Big Band singer in the 1940s before famed film director Michael Curtiz signed her to Warner Brothers where she made her motion picture debut in 1948 with Romance On The High Seas and performed the Oscar-nominated classic It's Magic.

Teaming with Rock Hudson for a trio of big screen comedies earned Doris an Oscar nomination for the iconic Pillow Talk.

In the late 1960s, Day moved to television with the top ten series The Doris Day Show followed by music specials in the 1970s and Doris Day's Best Friends in the 1980s. After retiring from show business, Day has devoted the past few decades to her first love with The Doris Day Animal Foundation.
