La-La Land Records presents a limited-edition CD release of acclaimed composer Joe Kraemer’s (THE WAY OF THE GUN, JACK REACHER, MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE ROGUE NATION) original motion picture score to big-screen theatrical event, THE SIXTY-YEAR MISSION: HOW STAR TREK CHANGED TELEVISION AND THE WORLD, written and directed by Mark A. Altman (Pandora, Free Enterprise) and Executive Produced by William Shatner.

THE SIXTY-YEAR MISSION charts the original STAR TREK’s remarkable voyage of a cultural phenomenon that transformed popular culture and the world at large. Through rare archival material and intimate conversations with the people who shaped its universe, including all three living members of the original cast; William Shatner, George Takei and Walter Koenig, this critically acclaimed film explores how Star Trek challenged the conventions of television—and gave millions of viewers a new vocabulary for talking about humanity, technology, and what comes next.

Composer Joe Kraemer unleashes an all-new musical universe worthy of this comprehensive, emotional and historical voyage, expertly paying thoughtful homage to the franchise’s classic past while teeming with original thematic material that soars with hope, drama and wonder.

Produced by Joe Kraemer and mastered by Doug Schwartz, this limited-edition CD release of 2000 units includes brief notes from the composer and director, with art direction by Dan Goldwasser.
