Buysoundtrax Records presents a new recording of the score for the 1984 film, THE BOUNTY, directed by Roger Donaldson and starring Anthony Hopkins and Mel Gibson. Vangelis' music is faithfully recreated by composer, orchestrator and arranger Dominik Hauser, featuring soloist Elizabeth Hedman and vocals by Katie Campbell. In addition to the score for THE BOUNTY, this new recording features traditional Irish, British and Scottish folk shanties, along with special bonus tracks, short suites from three other unreleased Vangelis scores: BITTER MOON, FRANCESCO and THE PLAGUE (La Peste).
