For the DDJ series’ summer release, our arrow is aimed at the target whose name belongs to a Maestro very dear to us: Nico Fidenco. CANDIDO EROTICO is a movie with a titillating story, directed in 1978 by Claudio Giorgi and featuring the sexy Italian star Lilly Carati, who was very active in the ‘70s and ‘80s. The score by Maestro Fidenco was arranged and conducted by Giacomo Dell’Orso and makes for an easy-listening experience, with one of the main themes revolving around the song “A Devious Man.”
With a groovy cocktail vibe, the album evokes the seaside with a light offshore breeze and chaise lounge partly immersed in still, crystal-clear water: relaxation personified through music.
The CD is released in a jewel case featuring a 12-page booklet with liner notes (in Italian and English) by Fabio Babini, mastering by Enrico De Gemini and graphic design by Alessio Iannuzzi.
