Bill Murray plays a Rock N Roll Artist Manager who travels to Afghanistan and discovers a local girl with a golden voice. The Barry Levinson comedy also stars Zooey Deschanel, Danny McBride and Leem Lubany. The soundtrack is anchored by Leem Lubany’s three original Cat Stevens covers which feature prominently in the film. A Bill Murray cover of “Smoke on the Water” is also exclusive to this soundtrack. The Cat Stevens original, “Pop Star,” leads a handful of licensed classic rock era songs.
