Shot concurrently with "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring" and "The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers," "The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King" is the third and final film in director Peter Jackson's epic trilogy based on the works of J.R.R.
