It has long been a wish of ours to release a CD set with numerous highlights in the work of composer Raphael Benjamin Meyer and accordingly we are very happy to be able to present it herewith. In total, the set includes 3 CDs and 17 productions from the period 2009 - 2021. Due to the variety of genres included, we have given the set the title "Music for Games, Film, Television and Concert Hall". CD1 focuses on music for documentaries, CD2 presents music for feature films + series and CD3 contains music for games, works for the concert hall and more.

Perhaps some listeners will immediately notice two connections to previous productions of ours: "Der Bestatter" (The Undertaker) was previously released as a separate 3-CD set (A 9044), represented here with nearly 10 minutes of mostly previously unreleased music. In addition, "Tangle Tower" (A 9052), the sequel to "Detective Grimoire & The Secret of the Swamp", was released in 2020, which now receives its CD premiere here.

In addition, there is plenty more to discover: for "Anna in Switzerland" (2014) Raphael Benjamin Meyer resorted to historical instruments such as theorbos, lutes, viols and recorders, for "Who's Afraid of Alice Miller?" (2020) to the baroque guitar. "Amen Saleikum - Merry Christmas" (2019) features a colorful mix of Christmas carols, church organ and Balkan band. In 2015 Raphael Benjamin Meyer composed the Irish Suite for recorder orchestra, which has already been performed worldwide. This suite is included in our 3-CD set, as is the sweeping, rousing adventure music for "Pirate Hell" or the spooky music for "Haunt the House: Terrortown", in which the clarinet takes center stage.

So much for just a few examples, the set also includes many more fascinating discoveries from the Raphael Benjamin Meyer archive. Running time over all 3 CDs is approximately 236 minutes, the booklet contains 16 pages with a musical description by the composer and numerous illustrations from the various productions.
