This Box contains six original soundtracks, written for Television by the legendary Guido & Maurizio De Angelis between 1972 and 1975. The beloved brothers, who had already been active for some years for Cinema with such famous soundtracks as "Per grazia ricevuta," "Continuavano a chiamarlo Trinità," "...e poi lo chiamarono il magnifico," "Più forte ragazzi," "Trastevere," and preceding by a year the worldwide success of "Sandokan" (1976), composed beautiful OSTs whose main theme was released in the 70s by RCA only on singles, but which we present here in their entirety, thanks to the masters of the original mono and stereo sessions archived at Universal Music Publishing Ricordi.

Through sixty-nine tracks with a total duration of 199'36" minutes, the listener will travel through fascinating sound dimensions: Beat, Rock, Progressive, Folk and experimental, alternating romantic themes with dramatic and mysterious ones that demonstrate the enormous talent of Guido & Maurizio De Angelis, then young composers, had gained a lot of experience in soundtracks, thanks to work done for years with other colleagues. On March 25, 1938, Ettore Majorana disappears after being seen boarding a ferry leaving Naples for Palermo, leaving behind only two letters, one addressed to his family and the other to a fellow student, in which is contained an apparent desire to disappear. A long time later, a physics student wonders about his disappearance.

SUL FILO DELLA MEMORIA

Some time after being kidnapped by a gang of thugs, an industrialist tries to track down the criminals who kidnapped him, reconstructing the events on the thread of memory.

DELITTO DI REGIME (Il caso Don Minzoni)
Directed by Leandro Castellani in 1973 and starring Raoul Grassilli, Giulio Brogi, Antonio Salines, Sergio Fiorentini, Ivano Staccioli, Nino Fuscagni.
On Aug. 23, 1923, Argenta parish priest, Don Giovanni Minzoni, a military chaplain during World War I, is bludgeoned to death while returning to the rectory. The investigation is polluted by the Fascists, and during the process it is Italo Balbo himself who shows up in the courtroom, succeeding in having any connivance of the killers with the regime erased and obtaining a verdict of acquittal for all defendants.
