DEEP IMPACT’s powerful and dramatic storyline chronicling the human race’s attempt to thwart and survive a cataclysmic incoming comet needed a score capable of grounding its high-concept premise in truthful human emotion while conveying its epic scope and heightening suspense. The legendary James Horner (GLORY, THE ROCKETEER, TITANIC) delivers in every possible way, with a riveting, thematically rich orchestral score that is as heroic and inspirational as it is thrilling, heartbreaking and tragic.

Newly remastered by Mike Matessino and expanded beyond the original soundtrack album with previously unreleased music and bonus tracks, this essential 2-CD presentation of Horner’s DEEP IMPACT demonstrates why this score among his finest works of the ’90s.
