All the Rivers Run is a four-part mini-series set in the Australia of the early 1900s. Sigrid Thornton stars as Philadelphia Gordon, newly arrived from England to visit her uncle. Her life is forever altered when she meets handsome frontier paddleboat skipper Brenton Edwards (John Waters). Our heroine marries Edwards and foregoes her burgeoning career as a photographer to settle down on his farm, which is ravaged by drought during their first year together. 1984
