I have a question about the presentation of the original "three-ch masters" on the CD. When I saw this in release, at the Royal Theater in San Francisco, sitting in the back of the theater for two screenings, there was a clearly distinct music channel in the rear that was separate from the front channels. I know, this was 40+ years ago, but I remember it distinctly, sitting through it again partly to hear that amazing overture surround the audience. The DVD/BD do not seem to reproduce this.

Anyone know the facts behind this? Does the booklet explain? :)
