UNSEALED

The film analyses the birth and development of the feminist movement in Italy in the 1970s, through the diaries and intimate experiences of three women who grew up in different social and cultural environments. The narration, told through three narrative voices representing the writers of the diaries, is interspersed with footage and interviews which show the development of a new awareness in those years: the marches, the debate on abortion, divorce, relationships, women's work, female sexuality experienced in a totally new way, feminist meetings. The film also highlights how the very model of woman has changed over the years.
