A war correspondent returning to America on an ocean liner meets and Irish girl who is sailing to meet her fiance in America. On the voyage a lecherous older man attempts to molest her and is injured when she pushes him away. He brings charges against her and she is detained at Ellis Island, but it is finally cleared when the correspondent comes to her defense. Don Ameche, Arleen Whelan, Gregory Ratoff, Binnie Barnes and Gilbert Roland star in this 1938 classic.
