The true story of John Forbes Nash Jr., (Russell Crowe) a young man in 1950 whose formulas established the mathematical principles of the "Game Theory" of economics, eventually winning the Nobel Prize 40 years later. By the age of 30, however, Nash was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia. Nash had a varied sexual life as well, which included an arrest for indecent exposure in a men's restroom and the fathering of a child out of wedlock. This film will focus on Nash's relationship with his wife and the path his life took from success to mental illness to recovery.
