Quartet Records and Gaumont present the new score composed by Academy-Award winner Gabriel Yared (The English Patient, The Talented Mr. Ripley, Betty Blue, Tom at the Farm). The film, directed by actor-director Roschy Zem (Omar Killed Me), and starring Omar Sy, James Thierrée, Clotilde Hesme and Olivier Gourmet, tells the history of the clown Chocolate, the first black circus artist in France, who was a great success in the late 19th century.
Gabriel Yared has composed an elegant, sophisticated, richly melodic score, which also includes circus music and period dances, all beautifully recorded at Air Studios in London.
