CFSoundtracks and Beat Records are pleased to release on CD for the first absolute time two original soundtracks by Franco Godi from the movies “L’Esorciccio” (1975) e “Paolo il freddo” (1974). In February 1975, the RI-FI label released a 45 rpm single (RFN - NP 16610) with “L'esorciccio” sung by Ciccio Ingrassia on the A-side and “Sciamuninn Rock” sung by Lino Banfi on the B-side. At the time, not a single note from Paolo il freddo was released. For the first time ever, we are proud to release on CD all of the background music from the two films composed by Franco Godi.

From L'esorciccio, in addition to the two songs, the listener will appreciate many pleasant instrumental variations of the song with funny, romantic, pop passages and electronic music for diabolical scenes. From Paolo il freddo, there's a recurring theme with a Latin American flavor for choir and orchestra, a romantic love theme, truly cheerful musical sequences, and music for the Moira Orfei circus. Rosaria Calì, wife of Ciccio Ingrassia, composed "Un valzer per lui," used in the end credits of L'esorciccio, and "Il tango di Paolo," which is reprised in various scenes of Paolo il freddo. This CD of ours, lasting over 70 minutes, was made possible thanks to the mono and stereo audio elements provided by Maestro Godi himself.
