French zombie movie La Horde (The Horde in English) won the awards for best screenplay and cinematography at the presitigous genre festival Fantasporto and is now getting its international distribution with a theatrical release in the UK in September and other release dates scheduled in territories such as Japan, Germany and Italy. The film is released by IFC Films in the US on demand on August 11. Acclaimed composer Christopher Lennertz score for the film is an intense and dark journey into bloodthirsty cannibal zombie mayhem and MovieScore Media is very proud to be working for the first time with Lennertz, one of the young Hollywood composers who has already established himself as a major new voice in contemporary film music.
