UNLIKELY HEROES is a documentary from Moriah Films which tells the story of seven courageous Jews who, through various clever and even ingenious ways, saved many from death in the concentration camps.

Narrated by Sir Ben Kingsley, the film examines what it meant to resist or stand up to the Nazis, and sheds lights on previously unknown examples of courage and heroism during the most desperate days of the Holocaust. Few people know that on both an organized and an individual level, Jews resisted and defied their Nazi persecutors by picking up arms through art and performance, and spiritually. "Unlikely Heroes" highlights seven extraordinary people who exemplify the highest level of courage and human dignity. 2003
